Day 1: Udaipur (D)
Your journey begins in the enchanting lakeside city of Udaipur. This afternoon, at approximately 13:00, our tour leader meets you at your hotel, where we start with an immersive introduction to the city’s royal heritage. We set out on a guided exploration of the City Palace complex, discovering its courtyards, halls, and lakeside viewpoints overlooking shimmering Lake Pichola.
As evening approaches, we gather for a welcome dinner beside the lakeshore, raising a toast to the days of cycling and discovery ahead.
Day 2: Kumbhalgarh (B, L, D)
After an early start, a short transfer takes us outside the city where our first ride begins. Today’s cycling route offers sweeping views as we gradually ascend the Aravalli terrain - a mosaic of rugged hills, forests, and sparse countryside. Along the way, you’ll notice the distinctive vegetation that gives this region its signature hues.
By late afternoon we reach Kumbhalgarh, a historic stronghold famed for its massive perimeter wall. We spend the evening exploring the fort’s ancient ramparts and temples before settling in at our accommodation.
Day 3: Ghanerao (B, L, D)
This morning’s ride winds through forested tracks and gentle gradients toward the idyllic region near Ranakpur. After lunch, we take time to visit the remarkable Jain temple complex - admired worldwide for its elaborate marble artistry and breathtaking architectural detail.
The day concludes in the quiet village of Ghanerao, where we stay in a heritage property that reflects centuries of local tradition.
Day 4: Jawai (B, L, D)
We continue riding through vibrant countryside scenes, dotted with traditional farms and lively villages. As we head deeper into Jawai, the scenery transitions into dramatic granite landscapes and untouched wilderness.
Lunch is served in a beautifully remote setting. Later in the afternoon, we embark on a guided leopard experience - this area is known for its thriving population of wild leopards living in harmony with rural communities.
Day 5: Bhenswara (B, L, D)
Today’s cycling route is calm and easygoing, gliding across farmlands of millet, mustard, and wheat. The scenery is wide, peaceful, and characteristically rural.
Our base tonight is an atmospheric heritage residence originally constructed over two centuries ago. With its proximity to riverbeds, hills, and scrubland, it’s an excellent location for an evening cultural safari and wildlife sightings.
Day 6: Luni (B, L, D)
The ride today follows quiet village backroads where animal encounters are frequent - antelopes, blackbuck, herds of camels, and the occasional gazelle. Charming rural life surrounds the trail, offering great photographic opportunities and authentic interactions.
We reach Luni by afternoon and settle into a restored fort-stay that echoes medieval Rajput grandeur.
Day 7: Jodhpur (B, L)
A shorter morning ride leads us toward Jodhpur, Rajasthan’s famed “Blue City.” Upon arrival, we visit the monumental Mehrangarh Fort, a spectacular expression of Rajput power and architecture.
Your evening is open - wander into the old markets, unwind in a rooftop café, or simply soak in the unique desert ambiance.
Day 8: Departure (B)
After breakfast, your tour concludes. Continue onwards on your travel plans or stay longer to experience more of Rajasthan at your own pace.
