About us

Where It Began

Since 2010, Vietnam Bike Tours® has grown from a 3-bike startup in Ho Chi Minh City to Southeast Asia's trusted cycling tour operator, serving 500-1,000+ cyclists annually across Vietnam and neighboring Asian countries.

Globally Recognized

Listed among the world's trusted adventure travel companies on the ATTA network since 2017, Vietnam Bike Tours® connects with top-tier operators globally. That community raises our bar — every cycling journey we craft meets world-class standards while staying rooted in authentic Southeast Asian experiences, from historic trails to vibrant city streets.

  • It all began with three years of formal tourism and guiding studies, where the seeds of a dream were planted. Little did we know that this education would become the foundation for transforming Southeast Asia's cycling tourism landscape.

  • For seven years, founder Ngo Trong Huy honed his expertise as a cycling tour guide for leading companies, most notably the French tourism operator Exotissimo. These years on the road - leading cyclists through Vietnam's diverse terrains, connecting with local communities, and understanding what truly makes a memorable journey—shaped our philosophy: great tours aren't just about destinations; they're about authentic experiences and meaningful connections.

  • Armed with nothing but passion, experience, and three used mountain bikes in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Bike Tours® was born. Our vision was audacious: to conquer Southeast Asia's cycling tourism market and redefine what bicycle adventures could be. Starting small allowed us to stay true to our values - personalized service, sustainability, and deep local knowledge.

  • Word travels fast when you deliver exceptional experiences. Thanks to satisfied clients who became our ambassadors, we expanded our network to Nha Trang and Huế in Vietnam, Yangon in Myanmar, Bangkok in Thailand, and even reached Adelaide, Australia, and Texas, USA. These weren't just business connections—they were friendships forged on the road, proving that authentic travel creates lasting bonds.

  • When COVID-19 forced us to close all operations, we faced our greatest challenge. But true pioneers don't give up. We used this time to reflect, plan, and prepare for a stronger comeback, deepening our commitment to sustainable tourism and community support.

  • Rising from the pandemic stronger than before, we fully restored our tour operations across Vietnam and Southeast Asia, while expanding into broader Asian destinations. Our resilience proved that sustainable, community-focused tourism isn't just viable—it's essential.

  • Our journey continues as we extend our cycling adventures to Mongolia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and China, partnering with trusted local operators who share our values. Each new destination brings us closer to our ultimate mission: delivering exceptional cycling experiences while empowering local communities to build sustainable economies and adapt to climate change.

Sustainable tourism and shared prosperity guide everything we do — from fair pay for our team to partnerships with local suppliers and support for the communities we visit. Climate action also shapes our daily operations. We don't just talk about responsible travel — we live it, one journey at a time.
